THOUGHT LEADERSHIP | Complexities of the energy transition amid the current challenges of decarbonization
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend an insightful talk by Dr. Johannes Teyssen, Chairman of Alpiq, at the Pädagogische Hochschule Zürich,
organized by the Zurich Economic Society. His insights into the
complexities of the energy transition amid the current challenges of
decarbonization and public perception, called for awareness and action.
Dr.
Teyssen emphasized the need to balance regulations with innovation to
drive the development of reliable, sustainable energy sources. His
reference to Switzerland as a contributing "battery of Europe"
highlighted the country's role in energy solutions.
This
was a great opportunity to gain valuable perspectives on the future of
sustainable energy sources, and to engage in a rewarding discussion in
the matter.
