Today, I had the opportunity of attending an inspiring lecture by Ursula Nold , President of the Board at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund , hosted by the Statistisch-Volkswirtschaftliche Gesellschaft Basel ( SVG Basel ). Ms. Nold eloquently illustrated how Migros has mastered transformation since 1925—adapting to shifting political, social, and technological landscapes with resilience and purpose. Her insights on navigating climate challenges, evolving consumer expectations, and the integration of AI-driven personalization in retail truly resonated with me.
